Senior Week 2016 in Myrtle Beach is getting closer by the day. It seemed like just yesterday that the school year started, now it’s mostly over and soon it will be time for spring sports, prom, graduation, shopping for all the things you need for Senior Week like swimwear, then hitting the road for MYRTLE BEACH! If you haven’t already picked your hotel or beach house accommodations for Senior Week — a list of places that rent to under 21 can be found here — we’ll give you some of the comparative benefits of each choice!
Hotels
![myrtle beach boardwalk resort]()
The more traditional choice by most students is to get a hotel on the Ocean Blvd strip inside of regular Myrtle Beach close to the boardwalk and many of the high profile attractions. There are a few hotels that do allow under 18+ to rent, and some even allow 17+. Please confirm with your hotel when you book that everyone in your booking is indeed ok to stay. The most popular hotels for Senior Week are Sandcastle Resort at 1802 N Ocean Blvd, Boardwalk Beach Resort, Carolina Tarheel, Towers Motel, and Sea Park Motel. The room types vary, but if you have a group of 8 or less, it’s probably the easiest and most pain-free thing to do to book directly with the hotel in want. If you have a group of more than that, our friends at Myrtle Beach Group Bookings can help you find multiple rooms at the same hotel and get a nice group rate discount.
Other benefits of booking a hotel are that you get bigger pools, ocean front access or just across the street from the ocean, daily room cleaning service, and being close to other students from all over the country on their Senior Week trip.
Beach Houses

Beach houses have been gaining in popularity, especially in large groups of students coming from the same school. You can go through private home owners through craigslist, VRBO, or Air BnB and try to find one that will lease to an under 25 group in central Myrtle Beach; or companies like Coastal Condos and Cherry Grove Beach Houses that will lease to students in North Myrtle Beach. They can accommodate groups both small and large.
